  • We're looking for an experienced Rails developer to join the ADS CREW on-site in Orlando, Florida or Stillwater, Oklahoma. We develop web-based apps for clients including Chrysler, Camber Corporation, and many others here in the US and throughout the world. We're also the team behind Rails For All, acts_as_conference, and What's up in Ruby.

    You must have at least one year of provable Rails experience along with experience with HTML, CSS, javascript, MySQL, and Postgres. If your involved in the Rails community and enjoy giving back then all the better. We use agile and scrum heavily, so along with development experience you must be able to communicate directly with business people who don't always talk tech. While the job is on-site you must be able to manage yourself while working from home.

We offer 24x7 support for apps deployed to Amazon EC2 with our ADS Mantis service, and ADS Mantis Hosting is an end-to-end deployment and hosting solution for our Ruby on Rails clients.

    We aren’t just another development firm. Part of your time will be spent researching new applications of Rails to business problems, keeping up on the latest in web development, posting to our blog about business/technical topics, and creating screencasts and how-to’s.

    The position is on-site in either Orlando, Florida or Stillwater, Oklahoma. This is a full-time position - no contractors please. Code samples and references will be requested.
